What is the summit?
This two-day virtual summit will bring together changemakers from across the country who are dedicated to ensuring that children and families have equal and equitable access to the tools and resources needed to thrive. This summit is a great opportunity for personal and professional development.
Participants will be able to:
Network and learn from peers and experts.
Learn from interactive sessions focused on topics such as family engagement strategies, trauma-informed practices, data storytelling tools, leadership pathways, &more.
Engage with peers during virtual breakout sessions between workshops
Share your work & expertise with others during poster sessions and interactive sessions
Where will it be held?
The summit will be held online using an interactive platform that allows for an engaging, learning, and networking experience. The link to the summit will be sent out the week before the National Community Leadership Conference to all registrants.
When will the summit take place?
The summit will take place from October 26-27th, 2020. Each day will run from 12:00pm - 6:00pm Eastern Standard Times with generous breaks throughout the day.

What does it cost to register?
Registration fees are determined based on the size of the organization you work for and are waived if you are a student or a community champion. For more details, please visit the Registration page.
Can I cancel my registration?
We have passed our refund deadline of October 9th, however emergency refund requests will be looked at on a case by case basis. You will be notified via email on the determination of the refund request within 24 hours.
Registration fees may be transferred to another individual, the invoice for the new registration will be revised to reflect the new registrant’s membership status.

What topics will be covered?
The National Community Leadership Summit will cover a wide range of topics including leadership development, community organizing, advocacy, data storytelling, shared governance, and dignity/equity frameworks.
Will materials from the summit be accessible afterward?
Language interpretation in Spanish will be available throughout the event. Vital Village Ambassadors will also be available to help attendees. Please reach out to staff if you have any other accessibility needs that need to be addressed.
